The US fast-food giant McDonald fired its chief executive Steve Easterbrook after finding that he had a relationship with an employee. Steve Easterbrook insisted the relationship was consensual, but he evidently had “violated company policy.”
Mr. Easterbrook, 52, first worked for McDonald’s in 1993 as a manager before working his way up the company.
Steve Easterbrook was previously married to Susie Jennings, and the couple divorced in 2015. They have three children together.
