This article aims to talk about brain recovery after stroke and post-stroke rehabilitation based on the theory of neurophysiological recovery and neuroplasticity. 

Stroke is the leading cause of long-term disability in a worldwide scale. What will be the critical ingredients to a successful rehabilitation? How repeated behavioral activities modulate neural plasticity and promote ‘recovery’ in the brain?
How to maximize recovery at both the neurophysiologic and functional levels?
How to accelerate the rate of recovery?

Work on Neurophysiological Recovery

3) available neurophysiologic substrate that may be best targeted
4) Medical treatments designed to facilitate neurophysiological recoveries, such as the delivery of stem cells, growth factors, and small molecules, which are currently at a preclinical stage.
