Bible verses to help you heal from traumatic events…
The Bible makes it clear that “The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one” (1 John 5:19). That explains why the route “leads to destruction” is wide and broad and the road that leads to eternal life is small and narrow (Matthew 7:13–14).
Evidently, we are “among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life” (2 Corinthians 2:15-16). Thus, “Do not be conformed to this world” and “keep oneself unstained from the world” (Romans 12:1-2, James 1:27).
The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
Many are the woes of the wicked, but the LORD’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in him.
