Breast Cancer Prevention: The Danger of Environmental Hormones …
Breast Cancer Risk & Environmental Hormones
Both plasticizers and pesticides in the environment are risk factors for breast cancer. Doctors from Taiwan urge the general public not to use plastic bags to carry food in hot temperature so as to reduce the risk of contracting breast cancer.
Academia Sinica vice president Chen Chien-Jen said that having excessive amounts of plasticizers in one’s body potentially destroys the body’s hormonal balance, causing breast cells to become abnormal and cancerous, and ultimately result in gene transformation.
Phthalate in Consumer Products
Phthalate is a common environmental pollutant which disturbs the endocrine system. Phthalate is primarily used as plasticizers of polyvinyl chloride and as additives in consumer products. Some phthalates can be absorbed through the skin (Janjua et al. 2007)or being ingested, because phthalates potentially transmit from wrappers and containers to foods (Wormuth et al. 2006). Phthalates are endocrine disruptors with estrogenic effects. Prenatal exposure of phthalate may increase the risk of contracting breast cancer.
Zhang Yaoren, deputy director of the Tzu Chi Hospital in Taipei, advocates that as people put hot food in plastic bags, it will release plasticizers. Beyond that, plastic containers should not be exposed to sun exposure, high temperature, or ultraviolet light.
Plasticizers and Breast Cancer Risk
Researchers found that overexposure to plasticizers nearly doubles the risk of contracting breast cancer . For those with poor metabolisms, the risk rises to 3.4 times high. (Reference: A long-term research study conducted by Academia Sinica, the National Health Research Institutes, National Taiwan University Hospital and other researchers) . The research was conducted over more than 20 years with extensive samples. Thus, the report is totally convincing.
PET Plastic Products
Repetitive usage of PET plastic bottles is risky to our health. It’s worth noting that some plastic containers will release environmental hormones even at low temperatures. Many disposable cups are made from PS plastics. Plastics may become unsafe if they are not resistant to high temperatures. Many containers may not deform under high heat, but they are not absolutely safe. As to thermos, if the inner layer is coated with plastic, it’s not quite safe for the users.
Academia Sinica vice president Chen Chien-Jen asserts that plasticizers are being present in things such as toys, cables and shower curtains. In normal situations, the metabolic material is released via the kidneys in 24 to 48 hours. He suggested sufficient water intake and exercise help lower the risk of breast cancer.
Breast Cancer: High Cure Rate
In Taiwan, the 10-year survival rate for the patients of the first-stage breast cancer is around 80% high. As to zero-stage breast cancer treatment, the 10-year survival rate is close to 100%.
In Taiwan, many infected cases of breast cancer and breast lumps disappear without any treatment. Thus, be hopeful. According to the Bible, a joyful heart is the best medicine. As we blame anyone or anything, we abuse our brain and body without awareness. Raising body temperature proved to be an effective way to fight against disease. By increasing the body’s temperature through sweating or diet, we increase the body’s immunity simultaneously.
Negative Emotion and Illness
It’s worth noting that negative emotions and chronic stress highly affect blood circulation, inflammation index and blood sugar levels. Indeed, negative emotions, such as sorrow and suppressed anger, increase both blood sugar index and inflammation index.
Neck & Autonomic Nervous System
The autonomic nervous system is the part of the nervous system, which is fully controlled by our neck. As our neck and shoulder get tights, we are more likely to suffer from dysautonomia. The common symptoms of dysautonomia include headache, indigestion, anxiety and insomnia. That’s why it’s top important to ensure that your shoulder and neck are in good blood circulation. You’d consider stretching your neck and shoulder with a long towel. You have my words. It works well.
If you suffer from chronic fatigue and do not have enough energy for doing exercise, massage therapy does help activate body’s self-healing power and guarantee better sleep quality.
Prevention of Breast Cancer
#1. Limit sugar intake, especially processed sugar intake, including chocolate, sugary drinks and canned food. Avoid excessive fruit intake, because many fruits have high sugar content.
#2. Manage negative emotions, such as sorrow, regrets and suppressed anger. Negative emotions, chronic stress and old mental wounds are highly interlocked. The ability to forgiveness does highly affect our mental and physical health.
#3. Quit smoking. There’s a link between smoking and breast cancer risk, particularly in premenopausal women.
#4. Weight control and regular exercise: Dr. Jiang Kunjun argues that obesity may stimulate estrogen to accelerate breast cancer proliferation.
# 5. alkaline diet helps boost our body temperature
It’s worth noting that the immune system Increase 30% when our body temperature increases just 1 degrees Celsius. Those who suffer from chronic stress and those who tend to be anxious and nervous, they are more likely to suffer from low body temperature. Dr. Yumi Ishihara asserts that when cancer cells become active when our body temperature drops to 35 degrees Celsius. Conversely, cancer can’t survive when ou body temperature reaches above 39.6 degrees Celsius. More Info: Health Benefits of Chili and Capsaicin
#6. birth control pills and breast cancer
There’s some evidence shows that hormonal contraception, such as birth control pills and IUDs, releases hormones, and ultimately increases the risk of breast cancer. It’s comforting to know that the risk decreases after people stop using hormonal contraceptives.
#7. Limit alcohol. The more alcohol you drink, the greater your risk of developing breast cancer.
If you notice any changes in your breasts, such as a new lump or skin changes, consult your doctor. Be hopeful. Self-healing is real and situated in the subconscious mind.
TCM(Traditional Chinese Medicine)
Breast cancer has much to do with the negative emotions, particularly depression, sorrow and suppressed anger. More Info: Suppressed Anger and Depression Potentially Leads to Liver Disease and Brain Fog
Common Symptoms of Breast Cancer
- Change in the size, shape of a breast, such as abnormal nipple bleeding, protrusion or ulceration.
- There are wounds on the breast that cannot be healed for weeks, or the same wound continues to ulcerate.
- The breasts continue to ache after menstruation
Reoccurrence of Illness
Without uprooting the causes and risk factors of the illness, the reoccurrence of the illness is assured. According to Dr. Li, it’s not wise to cut the infected tissue without altering the health condition of the patient’s body.
Breast Cancer May Be Asymptomatic
For younger women, they tend to have a larger tumor. In clinical cases, breast cancer cells are more malignant for young women .Young women with breast cancer are more likely to suffer from poor prognosis with a relatively higher mortality rate.
For women with breast cancer, they are recommended to get pregnant 2 to 3 years after treatment and may consider preserving ovum and embryos before treatment.
# Breast lumps do not amount to cancer
Dr. Liu Zongyu reminded people that breast lumps are not a typical signal of breast cancer. He argues that up to 90% of lumps may be a cyst or fibroadenoma, which is usually benign. If you have concerns in your mind, please go to the doctor and check whether it is cancerous.

Preoperative Adjuvant Therapy
Recent studies have found that patients with triple-negative breast cancer and HER2 overexpression have a relatively high chance to preserve the completeness of breast through “preoperative adjuvant therapy.
Preoperative adjuvant therapy: It’s a medical treatment performed before removing the tumor. If the tumor shrinks, the area of subsequent surgical removal can be relatively smaller, so the patient has a greater chance to preserve the appearance of the breasts.
