Inner Peace: God’s Best Gift from Heaven
With a smattering of the Bible, wavering faith is common among human beings and Christians. This book offers clear-cut answers with in-depth study of the Bible verses to clarify people’s doubts about God’s justice, wrath of God, Last Judgment, God’s blessing, God’s punishment, life after death and God’s discipline. Fear and anxiety go hand in hand. If you can’ stop worrying, it means you are scared. By believing in God’s arrangement, you will be free from fear. Thus, anxiety can be identified as the evidence of wavering faith. What is assured, when we demand ourselves to live a highly disciplined life laid out in the Bible, inner peace comes into being for no reason. Inner peace is the best gift from Heaven(NLT, Jeremiah 29:11).Evidently, as we are endowed with inner peace, everything gets much easier and vice versa.
As we envision the bonus after overcoming a great difficulty, we define the happening as a life challenge. For those who are able to find the hidden marvelous chances behind a disturbing happening, they will tend to be optimistic, positive or hopeful in dealing with the disastrous trial in life. For those who fail to notice the hidden advantageous opportunities behind a disturbing event, they might question about God’s justice and suffer from faith crisis and negative emotions. That fully explains why a life trouble to a person might be conceived as a life challenge by another. Generally, people might have completely different sets of appraisals about a negative event. Anger, sorrow, pessimism and little faith are the most common causes to blind people’s vision to see the blessings behind a disaster. What I learn from life, a disquieting life problem might prevent us from losing something more valuable or prevent us from getting into a bigger trouble.
People tend to hold prejudice against life challenges or stigmatize life troubles because they know nothing about “God’s discipline” (Hebrews 12:11). A blessed life is not an easy life without any life troubles and worries. According to the Bible, God grants suffering of the chosen ones, namely the righteous, for 4 justified reasons. According to the Bible, God’s discipline and God’s love are intertwined. Thus, when our life track differs from our original plan, don’t be scared. God has a better plan for us. It fully explains the strong connection between God’s discipline, life troubles and post-traumatic growth. Going through the hard times gives us the chance to witness unconditional love and sufferings teach us to be truly humble and compassionate to others’ pain. Pride is recognized as a capital sin in the Bible. For those who do not truly believe in God’s existence and God’s mighty power, they are more likely to suffer from anxiety of the unknown.
When it comes to the definition of a good person, people think of boundless forgiveness, obligatory tolerance and charity. People have no idea about the 7 heavenly virtues and 7 deadly sins. The 7 deadly sins are character weaknesses of human beings, namely the vulnerabilities of human nature. God favors no one. No one can bribe God. God gives everyone different gifts, talents and distinct life problems.
Again, do not underestimate the wickedness of pride, prejudice, anger, habitual laziness, apathy and jealousy. Be aware of the danger of negative emotions. God knows the motives of our prayers. God is watching our every move. Our daily lives are under the supervision of God. God reads our minds and every spoken word will be judged by God. At bottom, pessimism, anger and vanity are the things which stop us form having a wonderful life. Be righteous, tender, humble, unselfish and compassionate. Be patient and be hopeful. Do not aim for overnight success. That’s a trap. Be patient to people around you and be patient for what you want out of life. And everything will be alright.
People in distress for their life is spent with sorrow and regrets. Their spirit and strength fail because of little faith or iniquity (Psalm 31:9-10). Do not “despised or abhorred the affliction of the afflicted” (Psalm 22:24). For those who abide by God’s will, they will surely find inner peace and God’s mercy like forever. For those who believe in God’s justice and God’s arrangement, they will hear Him.
It’s a commonplace thing that people tend to pray more earnestly when they are agony (Luke 22:42-44). I suppose most people shake off their conceit in the hard times and get closer to God.
Excessive sorrow might lead to death (Matthew 26:38).
It says, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life” (Proverbs 13:12). A life without hope withers little by little. For those who are in distress, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9 ESV).
People torment themselves by stuffing their mind with unduly desires, vanity and pride. People torture themselves for the sake of sense of superiority in heart. You don’t have to be superior to others to be respected or loved.
With a gentle and lowly in heart, you will find rest for your souls (Matthew 11:28-29).Always be sober-minded, endure suffering” and fulfill your duty (2 Timothy 4:1-5). People go astray in their heart, because “the works of the flesh are evident” (Galatians 5:19-21 ). God makes it clear that those who commit “sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these” will not visit the kingdom of God(Galatians 5:19-21).
